Cause of high temperature of dump truck diesel engine
- Time overload operation
Dump truck diesel engine overload operation for a long time, will increase its fuel consumption, heat load, resulting in high water temperature phenomenon. Therefore, long time overload operation of diesel engine should be avoided.
- Insufficient coolant
Check the coolant stock in the radiator and expansion tank regularly, and replenish it in time when the liquid level is low. Because of the lack of coolant in the cooling system of Dump truck diesel engine, it will affect the heat dissipation effect of diesel engine, resulting in high temperature of diesel engine.
- Mutual interference of heat dissipation devices (construction machinery)
If the hydraulic oil radiator and water radiator are placed in front and behind each other, when the hydraulic oil temperature is too high, the cold air temperature at the inlet side of the water radiator will be too high, affecting the heat dissipation of the water radiator. Therefore, the heat dissipation of hydraulic system should be overhauled to reduce the influence of hydraulic oil radiator on the poor heat dissipation of Dump truck diesel engine water radiator.
- The fan belt is too loose or the fan is out of shape
Check regularly whether the fan belt of diesel engine is loose and whether the fan shape is abnormal. Because the fan belt is too loose, it is easy to cause the fan speed to reduce, resulting in the radiator can not play its due heat dissipation capacity, resulting in the diesel engine temperature is too high. In addition, the deformation of the fan may cause the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator to fail to be fully utilized.
- Debris attached to the surface of the radiator
The most common phenomenon is the attachment of debris on the surface of the radiator. The debris will reduce the heat dissipation area of the radiator and the windward area of the radiator, resulting in the reduction of the heat dissipation capacity of the radiator and the high temperature of the diesel engine. Therefore, the radiator should be cleaned regularly.
- Poor coolant circulation
Insufficient opening of thermostat will reduce the cooling capacity of diesel engine cooling system. If the Dump truck diesel engine is high temperature, you can put the thermostat into the water for heating inspection, and the general opening distance of the thermostat is 8 ~ 10mm.
Warm tip: poor performance of the pump will cause the reduction of coolant flow, resulting in high temperature of the Dump truck diesel engine.
When checking the radiator and the water chamber, the temperature difference between the upper and the water chamber is generally 6 ~ 12℃, if it is small, the water pump can be replaced. Excessive scale will also affect the heat dissipation efficiency of the fins in the radiator and reduce the thermal conductivity of coolant and cold air. In this regard, the cooling system of diesel engine should be cleaned regularly, and the use of inferior coolant should be avoided to reduce the formation of scale.
