About Light-Duty Refrigerated Trucks:
Light-duty refrigerated trucks are the mainstay of urban cold chain transportation, focusing on short-distance transport scenarios.
Compared to heavy-duty refrigerated trucks, they are more compact and offer significant advantages in maneuverability, easily navigating narrow city streets and congested areas to precisely connect with supermarkets, farmers’ markets, and community fresh food stores.
This flexibility directly translates into improved transport efficiency, especially in “last-mile” delivery, significantly reducing unloading waiting time and ensuring goods arrive at consumers in their freshest condition.

Customized Services:
To meet diverse needs, customized services for light-duty refrigerated trucks are offered throughout the production process.
The dimensions of the cargo box can be flexibly adjusted according to the customer’s transport volume, from 3-meter cargo boxes for small deliveries to 6-meter cargo boxes for bulk transport, all precisely matched.
Refrigeration configurations are also selected as needed: if the transported general goods only need to be kept fresh rather than frozen, such as fresh fruits and vegetables, a highly sealed cargo box with strong insulation performance is sufficient; if the goods involve low-temperature requirements such as ice cream and frozen foods, additional professional refrigeration equipment is required.
Insulation Layer Design:
The insulation layer design is a core technological highlight of refrigerated trucks, directly determining the temperature control effect.
Industry mainstream standards stipulate that the insulation layer thickness of the floor and roof of refrigerated trucks reaches 105mm, while the side panels are 85mm thick.
This differentiated thickness design ensures overall insulation while also contributing to vehicle lightweighting.
The thickened roof not only enhances insulation but also resists heat penetration from direct sunlight; the floor has an additional protective structure added to the basic insulation layer, combined with non-slip plywood material, improving insulation capacity and making the body more robust and durable, adapting to the intensity of frequent loading and unloading.
Refrigeration equipment
For goods requiring refrigeration or long-distance transport, the choice of refrigeration unit is crucial.
Currently, the mainstream types are independent and non-independent. Non-independent refrigeration units need to be linked to the vehicle’s engine, relying on engine power to drive the refrigeration.
While this is cheaper, it has a significant limitation—the refrigeration system stops working when the vehicle is turned off, making it only suitable for short-distance, high-frequency transport scenarios.
Independent refrigeration units, on the other hand, are equipped with a dedicated generator, independent of the vehicle’s power, and can continuously provide refrigeration whether the vehicle is in motion or parked, making them perfectly suited for long-distance, cross-regional transport.
