Engine

The engine is the core power component of the truck, which drives the vehicle forward by burning fuel.
Type: Common ones are diesel engines and natural gas engines. Diesel engines have large torque and strong power, which are suitable for heavy-duty transportation; natural gas engines are relatively environmentally friendly and have low fuel costs.
Important parts: including cylinder block, piston, crankshaft, valve, etc. The cylinder block is the skeleton of the engine. The piston moves up and down in the cylinder. The crankshaft converts the movement of the piston into rotational motion, and the valve controls the process of intake and exhaust.

Gearbox

The main function of the gearbox is to change the output speed and torque of the engine to meet the driving needs of the truck under different working conditions.
Type: There are manual gearbox, automatic gearbox and manual-automatic gearbox. The manual gearbox changes the gear ratio by the driver manually operating the shift lever; the automatic gearbox automatically shifts according to signals such as vehicle speed, engine speed and accelerator pedal; the manual-automatic gearbox combines the advantages of both. The driver can shift gears manually or let the gearbox shift gears automatically.
Important parts: mainly include gear sets, synchronizers and shift mechanisms. The gear set is the key component to achieve different transmission ratios. The synchronizer is used to make the shifting process smoother, and the shift mechanism is responsible for performing the shifting operation.

Drive shaft
The drive shaft is responsible for transmitting the power output from the gearbox to the axle (rear axle), thereby driving the wheels to rotate. It can effectively transmit power between the gearbox and the axle to ensure the normal driving of the vehicle.
Structural features: Generally composed of axle tube, telescopic sleeve and universal joint. The axle tube is the main part of the drive shaft. The telescopic sleeve can adapt to the slight change of the wheelbase during the driving process of the vehicle. The universal joint is used to connect the angle changes between different shafts to ensure that the power can be smoothly transmitted at different angles.

Radiator
The engine generates a lot of heat during operation. The role of the radiator is to dissipate this heat and keep the engine within a suitable operating temperature range. If the engine temperature is too high, the oil will deteriorate and the parts will expand and deform, which will seriously affect the performance and life of the engine.
Working principle: The radiator is mainly composed of cooling water pipes and radiators. After the coolant absorbs heat in the engine, it is transported to the radiator through a water pump. In the radiator, the coolant flows through the cooling water pipes, and the heat is dissipated into the air through the radiator fins. At the same time, a fan is usually installed in front of the radiator to speed up the air flow and improve the heat dissipation efficiency.
