Recently, a customer from Guinea placed an order for one 80-ton 4 axles flatbed trailer with front board. During the requirement-confirmation stage, the customer clearly emphasized the risk of cargo sliding forward when transporting long materials such as pipes and steel products. To address this concern, a front board was specially installed at the front of the trailer.
The front board is a key safety protection component of the trailer. It is manufactured from the same high-strength material as the main trailer structure, enabling it to effectively block forward cargo movement caused by road bumps or sudden braking. This significantly reduces the risk of cargo displacement, damage, or impact to the tractor unit.
In addition, the front board offers excellent buffering performance. Its structural design helps absorb and disperse impact forces, reducing stress on the trailer head and critical components when carrying heavy loads. A detachable interface is also reserved, allowing the customer to quickly adjust or remove the front board according to different cargo types—achieving an ideal balance between safety and operational flexibility.
The main beam of the trailer adopts a heavy-duty high-strength I-beam structure. With a well-engineered load-distribution design, it effectively resists bending and torsion deformation under extreme loads. The entire chassis is built with high-strength Q345B steel and welded using automatic submerged arc welding technology, ensuring uniform, full weld seams with excellent structural integrity and sealing performance. This makes the trailer well suited to Guinea’s diverse climate conditions and complex road environments.
